Quezon City, Philippines March 2019 MSI officially brought their Prestige Series

laptops to the Philippines last March 22, 2019 at PlayNation UP Town Center. With the
mission to provide the right tools for professionals, yuppies, editors and content creators,
MSI unveiled the PS42, PS63 and P65 laptops.

Missed the launch event? Here are some important notes we took for you.

The PS42 has two variants to choose from. One with Intel Core I5-8250U partnered with
Intel HD 620 and another higher option which comes with Intel Core i7-8550U 2GB of
NVIDIA GeForce MX 150. It has aluminum silver chassis weighing only 1.19kg and as
thin as 15.9mm making it one of the thinnest creator laptops today.

The PS63 on the other hand has Intel Core i5 and i7 variants as well. The Intel Core i5
packs an Intel HD620 inside while the Intel Core i7 was said to have a GTX Successor
graphic card. The specific name was not mentioned during the launch but it seems to be a
new and more powerful graphic card among its class. This laptop comes with a sand-blasted
dark grey color with bluish diamond-cutting for a more elegant and fresh design.

And the laptop that will turn the table around, the P65. This is the highest end among the P-
Series laptops during launch. MSI raised the standards of a usual non-gaming laptop by
using the next generation Intel Core i7 Processor partnered with GeForce RTX 2070 Max-
Q GDDR6 8GB, adding up a 4K UHD panel and 1TB NVMe SSD. This one will surely make
every rendering, editing, and designing task 2 to 3 times faster!

Aside from this Prestige launching, MSI still kept things exciting on the side of gaming. After
a day of free play for League of Legends and Beat Saber in their area of PlayNation, they
launched a mini tournament for aspiring game teams. This League of Legend tournament
pitted two amateur gaming teams against each other for a chance to win a rare privilege.

The winner gets to play a game against the newest member of the Dragon Army; Team
Liyab.

Yes, MSI Philippines also announced their sponsorship for the gaming team thats topping
the ESL Clash of Nations Tournament. Liyab Esports is currently on their way to the finals
and armed with the top MSI Gaming tools, they will surely put up an amazing performance.

The PlayNation event ended on a high note as Team Liyab fought against the winning
amateur team and also had the time to do a quick meet-and-greet with all the gaming
enthusiasts in the area. See you on the next one!
