i already have a post before concerning the upgrading of my laptop into SSD and putting all my applications and OS in it, and keeping the HDD at the same time as a backup D drive. now, my question is like this. there are so many SSD's in the market and im quite confused if M.2 NVMe and M.2 NVMe PCIe are just the same? if not, which would you prefer that would be more compatible for the laptop model that i have..
TY in Advance!!!

Good day to everyone! i would just like to ask if anybody here experience also having poor battery life form their gaming laptops?
my laptop is just 2 months old. it would go from 100% to 40% in just an hour or maybe 1 hour and a half at best. and that is just watching videos in youtube or from my media files.
is it normal? i think considering that this is a gaming laptop maybe the battery life should last a little bit longer.
thank you in advance for anybody who would reply to this.

Good day to everyone! i'm Christian. i have an MSI laptop still very new, only 2 month old, GL62M 7RD with the specs you can find here in the site.. i was just pondering on adding an SSD to my laptop, which means i would still leave the HDD intact. i plan on transferring all my application in the SSD and leave the rest in the HDD. my question are as follows:
1. is it possible to transfer all my installed apps to the SSD without having to reformat the laptop? if yes, would it have any consequences?
2. what size of SSD would you recommend? and do you have any specific brand in mind? i use my laptop in work. the usual applications i have are Adobe Master Collection CS6, MS Office, 3D Studio Max, Corel Draw, Autocad, ProShow, and other regular apps.
3. which SSD would you prefer NVMe, PCI-E, or SATA?
4. should i also upgrade my RAM which is currently 4GB if ever i add an SSD. like make it 8GB? would it be beneficial?

by the way, i have one issue with my laptop and i dont know if some of you also experience it. my laptop battery drains so fast. specially if you are watching videos or doing regular tasks in photoshop. it would drain from full to almost 20% in about an hour or hour and half at best..

thanks in advance to everybody! God bless!
